Town Meeting Details
You can make a difference on April 25th.
At town meeting on Monday, April 25th, Merrimac voters will have a chance to approve adult-use cannabis sales in town – Article 16 – which could result in $250,000 in new revenue. This revenue can be used to fund any priorities set by the town – education, public safety, infrastructure or other projects.
However, approval requires a 2/3 vote of the attendees at the town meeting. So, to ensure that Warrant Article 16 is adopted, we need YOU to attend town meeting and bring a friend. Any registered voter in Merrimac can attend and vote at town meeting. Get to town meeting a few minutes early. You will be checked in and verified as a voter. The town meeting will begin promptly at 7:30 PM.
